Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in behavioral health. This role involves providing excellent patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of service during their visits.
Responsibilities
- Check in and check out clients for Psych appointment
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
- Educate patients on follow-up care instructions.
- Maintain knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to mental health and addiction
- Check Fax’s and scan documents
- Daily appointment reminder calls
- Maintain a clean office
Requirements
Work Hours - Mon- Fri - 9am - 4pm
