We have an opening for a full-time Mechanical Calibration Technician in our Chelmsford, MA laboratory for the 1st shift from 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm or the 2nd shift from 2 : 30 pm to 11 : 00 pm. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized and collaborative. If you have a technical high school education or experience as a machinist or mechanical inspector in the uses of mechanical / dimensional measuring instruments, we will train you to become a professional calibration technician.

Requirements :
Primary responsibilities :
- Calibrate and perform NIST traceable and ISO / IEC 17025 : 2017 accredited mechanical devices that include but are not limited to : micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, pin gages, pressure gages, ring gages, force gages, gage blocks, torque devices, crimpers etc...
- Ensure calibrations are performed in accordance with written procedures and / or approved industry standards.
- Ensure that all work is performed with our mission statement of quality, capability and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with the Essco Quality System.
- Complete each assigned job on time and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Document and evaluate the results of calibrations performed.
- Work with lab manager and team leaders to meet turn-around commitments.
