Are you looking for an entry-level role to gain hands-on experience in the wine industry and learn all about lab functions such as juice and wine sampling and analysis, and fermentation reporting?

We are seeking a Harvest Lab Intern ! This intern will be responsible for tracking fermentations and performing routine wine analysis throughout the harvest season. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for agriculture and learning.

This internship will start in August and extend through November. This is an on-site, temporary position based in Kenwood, CA.

Job Description

• Perform routine analysis on both juice and wine samples including, but not limited to : TA, pH, FSO2, Brix, Malic Acid, YAN, Acetic Acid
• Monitor fermentations daily and record Brix / Temperature readings
• Alert winemaking team of any struggling fermentations
• Keep fermentation logs updated in an accurate and time-efficient manner
• Assist vineyard intern with fruit analysis as needed
• Assist production team in cellar as needed

Pay Rate : $22.00 per hour (plus potential overtime). Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
