Job DescriptionUnder the direction and supervision of the Division Supervisor, the Lead Lab Assistant coordinates and organizes the daily operations of the inpatient / outpatient phlebotomy team assuring accurate and timely collection, receipt and delivery of laboratory specimens. Also, coordinates and organizes the daily operations in processing along with lab assistant duties in various sections of the lab. Diploma or GED California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire. 1 year of experience as a Phlebotomist or Lab Assistant performing blood specimen collections.
