KellyOmaha, NEKelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Pathology Lab Analyst position at a leading testing laboratory in Omaha Nebraska. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform analytical and microbiological testing of food products, ingredients, and environmental samples.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform analysis of various samples for pathogens, chemistries, and organisms
Review analysis results and notify management of deviations
Utilize aseptic and microbiological techniques
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment quality control
Participate in various quality tasks including taking incubator temperatures, running media controls, etc.
Follow processes per company policies and customer requirements
Monitor and report inventory
Prioritize safety in all activities
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
AS or BS degree in Life Science or related field with 2+ years lab experience is preferred
HS Diploma and 2+ years of industry lab experience will also be considered
Knowledge of aseptic sampling, automated lab equipment, and relevant guidelines is preferred
Familiarity with GLP, OSHA, FDA, BAM, APHA, ISO, and USP methods would be a plus
JOB DETAILS :
Schedule : Tuesday-Saturday, 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am
Training Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-6 : 00pm
Job Type : Contract to Hire
Pay Rate : $20 / hour
