Microbiology & Molecular Biology Lab Assistant Location : Greensboro, NC 27409 Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Pay Rate : $20-$22 per hourJob Description : Adecco is seeking a Laboratory Assistant with expertise in microbiology and molecular biology for a research-focused role in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will conduct microbiological and molecular biology research, perform routine lab procedures, and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment.Responsibilities : Conduct microbiological and molecular biology research activities.Perform procedures such as DNA extraction and Colony Plate Counting.Record observations, measurements, and report findings accurately.Maintain cleanliness and disinfect lab equipment to ensure a safe working environment.Follow established protocols and work independently while reporting to a supervisor.Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field. Relevant work experience will also be considered. Skills & Experience : Prior experience in microbiology and molecular biology techniques.
