Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed immediately to support K-12 students across multiple grade levels, from elementary through high school, in a school setting located in Northport, AL. This contract position runs through the end of the current school year, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students of various ages and developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs across grades K-12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student goals
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to support inclusive classroom environments
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and school personnel
