Full-time Building Attendant I $10.50 during probationary period / move up to $13.00 once hired on
Hours : 7am - 4pm during training
Once hired on-must have the ability to work long hours, split shifts, nights, and weekends for various events as scheduled.
Duties include, but not limited to :
Assists with set-ups (risers, tables, chairs, etc.) for banquets, meetings, and other events using the Civic Center.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms.
Sweeps, mops or dust mops floors.
Vacuums and shampoos carpeted areas.
Empties and disposes of trash.
Dusts walls, fixtures, and furniture.
Cleans windows and doors.
Replaces light bulbs and cleans fixtures as needed.
Reports equipment, maintenance or safety problems through Building Attendant II or III.
Works courteously with the public.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous custodial experience preferred.
Valid Texas Driver’s License is preferred
