JOB PURPOSE :
Must currently be enrolled as a student at Lewis & Clark Law School. Hours of work will be agreed upon between the professor and the student, during the school year 2023-2024.
Law clerk is needed to assist with legal and other research, citation checking and editing for a new casebook on industrial animal agriculture law. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about all aspects of this emerging topic (the focus is on land animals).
PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY
In order to apply for this position, you must have been contacted directly by the Law School.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Library research (in consultation with the professor).
Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and / or at Lewis & Clark College.
SCHEDULE :
School year 2023-2024. Schedule to be determined by professor.
RATE OF PAY : 18.00 per hour
