Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, client-focused solutions in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and property division. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Paralegal with family law experience to join our Fort Worth office.
Job Summary
The Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys in handling family law cases, ensuring efficient case management and exceptional client service. This role involves legal research, document preparation, client communication, and case coordination under the supervision of licensed attorneys. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in Texas family law procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements for family law cases.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information, such as statutes, case law, and court rules, specific to Texas family law.
- Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained, organized, and filed with courts in a timely manner.
- Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and schedule meetings or hearings.
- Prepare and organize exhibits, financial disclosures, and other materials for mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, and other parties to schedule hearings, depositions, and deadlines.
