Clark College is currently seeking applicants for a part-time Psychology Professor who understands psychology as it relates to power, privilege, and inequality. Courses include General Psychology and Lifespan Psychology. We welcome applicants who work effectively and collaboratively with students and staff from diverse backgrounds and understand the importance of social equity. We welcome applicants who promote multicultural understanding and practice and demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning and success.
This part-time position is an ongoing recruitment in which applications are collected year-round. Applicants must be available to teach the daytime, evening, or weekend hours. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

Position Responsibilities
GENERAL FACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Instruct classes in General Psychology and / or Lifespan Psychology (Human Development) utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.
Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve educational goals.
Participate in relevant department assessment activities.
Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
Participate in decision-making processes by taking part in department and college committees.
Pursue professional development.
Strive to enhance teaching and learning techniques.
Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.
Ability to work well as a member of a team.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES :
Teaching experience.
Supplemental Information
SALARY STATEMENT : Lecture hourly rate is $90.47, and lab hourly rate is $77.27.
