In this role, you will be key to driving our company's growth by identifying and qualifying leads for new consulting and managed services engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Development : Identify and qualify new business opportunities. Utilize strong "hunting" capabilities to uncover and pursue leads. Engage in qualifying discussions with prospects to understand their unique challenges, budget constraints, and decision timeframes. Make initial recommendations on pursuing opportunities.
Relationship Building : Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in prospective client organizations. Introduce Access Sciences Corporation services and expertise in managing and transforming information.
Strategy : Work closely with practice directors and the professional services delivery team to devise strategies for pursuing and winning new projects and managed services engagements. Identify target organizations and personas.
Market Analysis : Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Use insights to inform business development strategies and research targeted prospects.
Marketing Campaigns and Events : Collaborate with our Marketing department and practice directors to develop marketing messages, coordinate participation in sector-specific conferences and other marketing events and support the Marketing department with campaigns and channel identification.
Opportunity Shaping : Partner with practice directors and other leadership team members to define and scope opportunities. Dive deep into issues and pain points to understand business impact and priorities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development selling professional services such as consulting.
- Strong capability in "hunting" and lead generation, with a track record of identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at every level, including C-Suite.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including practice leaders, marketing, and professional services delivery teams.
- Willingness to travel and engage with prospects at their locations.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Preferred specialized knowledge of engineering and construction, and energy sectors.
- Primary work location in Houston, TX.
