Assisting the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in giving superior medical care. Accurate Data Entry of charges on patient accounts, registering patients, and updating patient accounts. Insurance Verification and recording of Statistics. Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, keeping providers informed of changes, and informing patients of their benefits. Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements : Education / Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred. Experience 1 year of medical office experience preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification in the state of employment is required.
