Salary : POSITION SUMMARY :

The Next Gen Pastor is a dynamic leader with a passion to see the rising generation encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. As a Next Gen Pastor, you will centrally oversee the Student Ministries of all our campuses and help unify all our Next Generation ministries from kids to young adults.

You will be responsible for working with Student Directors in designing life-giving experiences with quality biblical teaching, lively worship, small group engagement, along with fun elements that students want to come back to. You are also responsible for helping create a culture in our Student programs focused on both, reaching students who are far from God, and discipling students into becoming like Christ.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum of 2 years leading a growing student ministry.
  • Experience reaching students beyond the walls of the church.
  • Ability to recruit, develop, and multiply volunteer team members.
  • Ability to teach students in a large group format.
  • Ability to coach and equip student pastors on other campuses.
  • Ability to establish effective ministry and communication with parents.
  • Ability to work in a growing multi-campus environment.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Buy in to the Echo vision, culture and philosophy of ministry.

DESCRIPTION OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Lead and develop Campus Student Ministry Directors :

  • Lead campus directors and coordinators to execute student ministry strategy.
  • Develop a culture of leadership development within student ministry.
  • Ensure student ministries are run with excellence and simplicity.
  • Work with Strategic Leadership Team on future student ministry strategy.
  • Work with campus leadership to solve ministry problems, remove any barriers that keep students from encountering Jesus, and maximize opportunities for growth.
  • Help create a culture where students are integrated into the life and mission of the church, from serving during Sunday services, to engaging missionally in the city.
  • 2. Lead Echo Students Staff :

  • Regularly meet with Echo Students Directors and teams.
  • Work to bring alignment across multiple campuses.
  • Empower and coach for success.
  • 3. Give vision and foster unity across all Next Gen ministries

  • Create environments to learn and grow together.
  • Help coordinate cross-campus events
  • Implement a strategy for unifying ministry from kids, to students, to young adults.
