Duties & Responsibilities :
- Assume responsibility as the subject area teacher and / or as a co-teacher for one or more classes of assigned students, promoting the general progress and well being of individual students and of any class or group of students assigned, ensuring their holistic developmental needs are met - personal, social, emotional, and academic.
Plan, prepare and teach high quality lessons following course objectives and outlines for course of study in line with current best practice, taking into account the international dimension of the school population and the ISDenver Learning Principles and curriculum guidelines, including DEIB-based Social and Emotional curriculum.
Lead class field trips, overnight trips, and / or other out-of-classroom experiences according to school policies and procedures
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Personal Characteristics we are looking for :

Level B2 required, C1+ preferred (based on Common European Framework of References for Languages) or equivalent certification such as TOEFL or IETLS.
Physical Demands :
Location and Schedule : Expected work hours are 7 : 45am-3 : 45pm, M-F; you may have to work outside of these hours periodically. This job does not have remote work flexibility. All employees must be based in Denver, CO.

Paid leave for all full-time staff : Thanksgiving break (3 days), winter break (2 weeks), 4th of july week (1 week)
