Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range
109,200.00 - $180,200.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Learning is essential to everything we do. At Travelers we identify, champion, and deliver optimal learning experiences, strategies, and solutions to meet short- and long-term business goals and objectives. As a Dir, Learning Partner, you will serve as a strategic partner with business partners, subject matter experts, and learning teams to understand business goals to influence and drive learning solutions that support short and long-term business goals across lines of business, programs, and / or functions. You will lead the analysis, evaluation, and execution of learning strategies as it relates to programs and business goals including proactively reporting metrics to leadership. You will foster strong relationships with business partners and learning teams across multiple functions. This position may manage learning and training professionals.
The key responsibilities of this leader involve ownership for the PI Learner Experience; that is delivery of consistently exceptional modern learning experience for learners across PI. This leader is accountable for driving consistency through the development of our PI Learning Engagement Model, Development of Standard Practices, Implementation of New Learning Tech and New Ways of Working (Agile), Learner Experience Surveys & Focus Groups, Capacity Planning and Prioritization process, and Project Health and Execution. A portion of this role is responsibility for PI specific Learning Metrics – this role serves as a contact / liaison to Learning Analytics and Enterprise Learning Enablement.
What Will You Do?
- The below duties are expectations either as an individual contributor or managing people :
- Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources and propose learning tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver optimal solutions based on business needs.
- Explore new technologies providing feedback on capabilities and make recommendations to improve processes.
- Gather and synthesize information to implement recommendations, gain stakeholder support, and influence solutions.
- Manage consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards with the ability to coach and develop team members.
- Influence and implement actionable curriculum development which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives. Monitor, evaluate, analyze, and report on effectiveness of learning solutions.
- Lead planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Review learning team member projects.
- Manage, negotiate, and maintain vendor contracts and relationships.
- Recommend structured methodologies and lead change management activities.
- Oversee PI Learner Experience & Learning Effectiveness – Track feedback, collect data and monitor knowledge transfer, sentiment and satisfaction of learners relative to business performance and outcomes.
- Gather information to report emerging needs back to L&D and business partners for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain standards of practice for key learning capabilities : Design & Development, Delivery (facilitation), and Learning Enabling Capabilities
- Oversee the successful execution of the Learning Project Management Framework – Project scope, timeline and deliverable documentation
- Monitor and report project health for Portfolio of Learning & Development Work – create Monthly / Quarterly Operating Review
- Assess and implement new tech solutions presented by Enterprise Learning Enablement
- Ensure PI Learning alignment of data practices (xAPI, course storage, data ready design, CredSpark) to HR Analytic standards
- Perform other duties as assigned.
