LECTURER I, Women’s and Gender Studies Program to perform the duties of a full-time lecturer with full benefits. Candidates should be prepared to teach courses in their specialization as well as WGS core courses such as Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies (WGS.101) and Feminist Thought (WGS.301). Interested in candidates who can teach courses related to gender and labor, public health, psychology of gender, Indigenous Studies, and / or Black Studies. Responsibilities include teaching three courses each semester, course creation, interacting with students, curriculum revision and improvement, interacting with the program and Registrar’s office, and overseeing student thesis projects.
REQUIRED : Masters in a relevant discipline in the Humanities, Social Sciences, or related transdisciplinary fields (completed or expected by August 2025). PREFERRED : Graduate training in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies or strong interdisciplinary background; and a strong research portfolio.
This is a three-year appointment beginning July 1, 2025, with the possibility of long-term renewals and promotion based on favorable performance reviews.
