Legal Specialist - Plano, TX
Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Specialist to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and procedures, with a particular focus on contract management and compliance. This role involves supporting the legal department in various capacities, including drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, as well as providing general legal support to ensure the company always operates within the law.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Licensing Support :
Support the legal team in managing business registrations and licenses, which may include Secretary of State renewals and amendments, local / municipal business licenses, and more.
Research and compile contracts for audit, document production or other purposes.
Organize and maintain legal files and records.
