If you need assistance or have questions regarding the application process, please contact Human Resources at (702) 895-3504 or [email protected] DescriptionThe University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Administrative Assistant III, College of Liberal Arts [R0145484].ROLE of the POSITIONThe College of Liberal Arts Dean's office is seeking an Administrative Assistant III, to provide front desk support for the Dean's office by way of answering phones, and greeting visitors; maintains calendars for the two Associate Deans, and others in the office. Creates spend authorizations, expense reports, and purchase orders for the Deans office. Make travel arrangements for the Associate Deans and others within the office. Complete Pcard transactions, and reconciliation as a Pcard Liaison. Work with the AA IV, to ensure events are successful, assist with the Annual Honors Convocation, faculty and student awards. Collect required documents for promotion and tenure and faculty awards, when faculty are eligible. Manage the COLA email account, Google Drive, Qualtrics account, COLA phone list, email lists, hiring lists, salary list, and promotion / tenure list. Ensure accounting spreadsheets are accurate on a daily basis, collect and file all account receipts. Handle confidential material with the utmost care. Assist the departments within the College of Liberal Arts as needed. Work with a diverse group of faculty, staff and students. Other duties maybe assigned as needed.There is NO Remote work option for this position. Work hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, please note some events may extend past the work day hours.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS"PER EXECUTIVE ORDER 2023-11, ALL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN WAIVED FOR THIS POSITION UNTIL DECEMBER 31ST, 2024.
