Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse

Abilene, TX

Start Date : ASAP

Minimum 6 month contract

Shift : 2pm - 10pm

We are currently seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our caring team. Join us in our mission to provide top-notch care and support, making a meaningful difference in our community!

About the company :

Located in the heart of West Texas, this facility provides comprehensive care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The center offers a range of services, including medical care, therapy programs, vocational training, and recreational activities, all designed to enhance the quality of life and promote independence. With a dedicated team of professionals, the facility creates a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth and community inclusion for its residents

Responsibilities :

Deliver nursing care according to established protocols.
Participate in patient assessments and documentation.
Work collaboratively with a team to ensure patient well-being.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements :

Minimum of two years' experience in nursing, preferably in an acute or long-term care environment.

Ability to work a rotating schedule, including three weekends per month (alternatively, every other weekend can be negotiated).

Current American Heart Association CPR Certification.

Commitment to a 6-month contract.
