Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of both direct and indirect care. As an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, the nurse delivers patient and community-centered care, advocating for patients and their families by acting as a liaison and upholding their rights and beliefs. Utilizing evidence-based medical practices, the LPN effectively manages unexpected and emergent situations, promptly addressing and treating a variety of injuries and illnesses with professionalism and expertise.
International SOS Government Medical Services is recruiting Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to support our medical staffing projects West Virginia. LPNs may work in temporary, short-term, or long-term jobs. Recruited personnel might be working alongside our clients' teams or as part of our own multidisciplinary teams, in secured federal facilities, medically remote locations, industrial projects, or our own clinics in long-term care or acute care facilities.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer medications and monitor their effects.
- Monitor and record vital signs.
- Assist patient with daily living activities.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and assist with crisis management.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate high quality patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure a safe treatment environment.
- Initiate protocols for emergent situations where immediate action is necessary to prevent harm or injury.
- Respond to inquiries of family members, advocates and other interested parties, insuring adherence to the confidentiality laws, and HIPPA Regulations

Compensation / Min : $40hr Max : $50hr
Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
