A company is looking for a Life Insurance Underwriter to support the Underwriting Department by delivering customized solutions to clients.Key Responsibilities : Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the agencyCollaborate with various teams to develop action plans for underwriting challenges and present case files to carriersConsult with advisors and negotiate with carriers regarding underwriting offers and case processingRequired Qualifications : Preferred Bachelor's degree; HS Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 5 years of life insurance experienceHaving or pursuing insurance industry designations such as FALU and FLMISkilled in using underwriting tools and softwareProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
