Job description$13 - $16 / hour $100 Ellis Lifeguard Certification Bonus Free swim lessons for immediate family Employee incentives for subbing and providing exemplary service Advancement opportunities Teaches swim lessons to children using Goldfish Swim School's proven, award-wininng curriculum Coaches, motivates and supports children who are learning to swim Provides continuous feedback to Deck Supervisors on swimmer progress and completes quarterly evaluations for students Uses problem solving / creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter. Develops positive relationships with swimmers and families Ensures swimmer safety at all times Sets up, organizes and puts away lesson equipment Attends staff meetings, trainings and in-services as scheduled Follows all Goldfish policies, rules and regulations including emergency and safety procedures Must be at least 15 years old Ability to instruct swimming lessons (40 hours of paid training is provided.) Knowledge of swim strokes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Self-motivated team player with the desire to continuously improve through positive feedback and coaching Available to work weekends Must pass background check Lifeguard certification is a plus (Goldfish certifies employees on-site and provides a $100 certification bonus.)

Job description : Goldfish Swim School instructors build the confidence of young children by teaching them a critical life skill. Our team makes learning to swim fun while using a proven curriculum that gets results. Instructors typically teach for 3-5 hours per shift and are scheduled the same days each week to build a rapport with students that helps build progress. There are no late nights and our shifts are perfect for anyone wanting a predictable schedule that allows you to enjoy other activities
