Requirements :

Job Title : Swim Instructor and Lifeguard

Reports to : Assistant Manager

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Summary : Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on thorough knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Education / Experience : High school diploma or GED is preferred. Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor / coach, camp counselor and / or childcare provider prefered. You do not need to have any swimming instructor experience as we will train you, if you have swimming experience and you have a heart for teaching this is a great position for you.

Certificates and Licenses : CPR / AED and First Aid certification required. A Lifeguard Certification is highly recommended.

Work Environment : While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation : $16.00 per hour
