Excellent mechanical aptitude with ability to operate lawn equipment. Must be able to read work orders / service requests. Good safety habits. Gorman & Company is looking for a full time Grounds & Light Maintenance Technician who is committed to providing first class groundskeeping and light maintenance services as part of a collaborative maintenance team in the Little Rock area. Groundskeeping and Light Maintenance is one of the most important jobs for maintaining community housing properties in a safe, attractive, and comfortable condition for our residents.

A day in the life of a Grounds and Light Maintenance Technician :
- Work with our maintenance team to perform grounds maintenance such as lawn services, maintaining shrubs and gardens, spraying insecticides and clean-up.
- Outdoor building maintenance - painting, light bulbs, install and / or maintain fences.
- Assist outside contractors and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Assist in supplies inventory control and upkeep of all ground's equipment.
- Complete corrective maintenance by completing service requests.
- Assist with unit preparation to include painting, cleaning, repairing and / or replacing appliances, plumbing, and / or electrical fixtures.
- Emergency maintenance / On-Call when needed.
