Our practice prioritizes patient and staff safety with all of our radiographs and diagnostic imaging procedures. We use appropriate, safe sedation and ensure that the process is not a struggle for either technician or patient. We strive for high quality diagnostic images that provide our team of doctors with the information they need to help our patients.
We are a 24-hour Emergency, Specialty and Critical Care center located in Syracuse, New York. We currently have a large team of full and part time emergency clinicians, as well as board certified specialists in surgery, internal medicine, radiology, critical care, and oncology. We also have a physical rehabilitation suite including underwater treadmill, hydrotherapy pool, and exercise room. Attached to the VMC is an IDEXX reference laboratory, which enables accurate test results with a fast turnaround time for hospitalized patients. Learn more about the practice atour website
We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Radiology Technician for our busy ER / Specialty practice
- Daytime, weekday hours - flexibility possible, including option for part or full time hours
- All of our hospital departments will request radiographs. Our case responsible veterinarians will provide safe and specific sedation protocols, requests for required views, etc.
- We ask that you will ensure compassionate, safe handling of our patient including the administration of sedation / anesthesia. We ask that you obtain high quality radiographs and ensure that our patient is safely managed throughout.
- We will also train you to be able to receive, schedule, and run CT requests from all hospital departments. CT is a valuable and well used tool in our diagnostic capabilities, and we're happy to give you the training and support you need to use this machine.
