The Fitness Specialist is responsible for evaluating and developing exercise, fitness and wellness plans for senior members by performing fitness assessments. The position is responsible for monitoring Member's progress and educating members regarding the importance of physical activity.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide equipment orientations on strength training and cardiovascular equipment
- Ability to teach a variety of fitness classes if needed
- Interact with participants to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Provide tours of Community Center including program descriptions and goals
- Monitor Community Center to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Set up for all activities occurring in the community center
- Receive and distribute deliveries

Required Qualifications :
The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
