Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Attorney with 6+ years of commercial / insurance defense litigation experience for an AmLaw 200 firm's Litigation business unit in Philadelphia. All candidates must have the following experience : substantive trial preparation and courtroom experience, including file responsibility, motion practice, and deposition experience; strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills; and strong academic credentials. Experience working with discovery software is preferred. Successful candidates must be detail-oriented and organized, and must possess a solid work ethic. All candidates must currently be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $175,000-$215,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, employees have the ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA / FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking / public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
