TITLE : Event Coordinator DEPARTMENT : Live Events

REPORTS TO : Sr. Events Manager FLSA : Full Time; Hourly, Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY : This position will be primarily responsible for coordinating the event logistics for all Inter & Co events. The stadium Event Coordinator will liaison with clients, internal departments, and external stakeholders, preparing and distributing event details, and providing on-site event support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn and all aspects of Orlando City SC teams and history and INTER & Co layout capacity, event spaces etc.
• Coordinate service needs with outside vendors and internal departments as needed for the execution of a successful event.
• Assist in managing all internal event requests
• Create, distribute and maintain event details and venue operational instructions including event timing, room and concourse layouts, contact lists and other activities to responsible parties in a timely manner.
• Monitor all Internal Event Requests using Monday.com and update the tracker for each event lifecycle
• Assist with the completion of pre-event financial estimates and post-event settlements.
• Work with the Events Team to identify the client's requirements and expectations for each event.
• Maintain high level of customer service to existing and new clients of Orlando City SC.
• Help track all stadium events including categorizing the event type and recording rental fees.
• Proactively maintain ongoing communication through virtual meetings and walkthroughs with the client before and during the event / meeting.
• Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to client's standards.
• Function as a liaison between stadium clients and stadium staff.
• Collaborate with general counsel to draft, negotiate, and execute event contracts.
• Coordinate with the Events Assistant on stadium and event tours
• Maintain a professional and positive working relationship with co-workers, vendors and clients.
• Other duties as assigned.

In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the league's 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then-Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Club's MLS debut.

Former Orlando City defender Seb Hines serves as the team's head coach, not only the first Black head coach in the league, but also the first to win both the Championship and the NWSL Shield, and the 2024 NWSL Coach of the Year.

In 2017, both teams moved into its privately-owned, soccer-specific venue - Inter&Co Stadium - located in the heart of downtown Orlando.

In July 2021, the Club - which includes Orlando City SC, the Orlando Pride, Orlando City B (MLS NEXT Pro) and Inter&Co Stadium - was purchased by the Wilf Family, who also own the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League.
