Live in nanny Jobs in Torrance, CA

Location: Manhattan Beach, California

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required

Compensation: $28 per hour (negotiable up to $30 per hour for highly qualified candidates); 45 hours guaranteed per week

Start Date: Immediate, with the expectation to continue through the arrival of a second child in mid-July

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for an almost 2-year-old child

• Assist with newborn care upon the arrival of the second child in July

• Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children

• Perform light housekeeping duties during the toddler’s nap times, including tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and maintaining cleanliness of children’s spaces

• Safely transport children to activities, appointments, and outings as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience caring for toddlers and newborns

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transporting children

• Strong understanding of child development stages and age-appropriate activities

• Ability to commit to a long-term position

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
