Warehouse Loader

Warehouse Loader is responsible for ensuring our products are moved within the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner and performing the loading / unloading of route trucks manually or by forklift operation.

Reporting Location

Norfolk, VA

Compensation

$20 / hr + 6%-8% of base hourly rate paid for applicable hours worked

Schedule

Monday - Friday Start Time : 5 : 00PM until workload is completed. Overtime may be required depending on business needs

Responsibilities

Ensure warehouse standards are upheld by working in a safe and professional manner Load and unload route delivery trucks and tractor trailers by hand and forklift Palletize products for loading Operate warehouse equipment such as Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks etc. Take care of our products through proper handling and storage Ensure inventory is properly maintained Ensure good housekeeping and warehouse standards are upheld Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions Move our delivery trucks for loading and unloading and perform truck refueling Handle administrative responsibilities as needed (bay mapping, inventory tasks, damaged product counts, and allowing housekeeping entry during their scheduled time)

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age Must possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record (no major driving offenses in the last 3 years) Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs. during the work shift Willing to work overtime as needed Warehouse / forklift experience is preferred, but we can train new associates
