Job descriptionDeliver exceptional customer service, managing the loan process from application to closing with timely communication and accurate documentation. Ensure compliance by overseeing quality control and adherence to regulations and company policies. Lead team marketing efforts to expand the client base, including print ads, public relations, and product campaigns. Conduct industry research on regulatory requirements, market strategies, audience development, and trends to support informed decision-making. Supervise and develop team members, managing performance, promotions, and HR functions. Exercise sound judgment in loan decisions, maintaining expertise in products, client needs, and compliance. Build and maintain business relationships and referral networks to identify prospective clients. Guide and pre-qualify potential clients, ensuring accurate application details and advising on loan options. Collect and verify financial documentation, ensuring compliance with all loan terms and guidelines. Secure loan terms, communicate with clients, and review closing documents for accuracy. Stay current with underwriting guidelines, market trends, and emerging loan products. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts in collaboration with HR. Support NOVA’s management and business operations as needed. Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills. Exceptional client service, organizational abilities, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage lending laws and regulations. Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and mortgage tracking software. Responsiveness and commitment to customers and NOVA personnel.

- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Relevant education and work experience will be considered.
- A valid and active Loan Originator License is required.
- At least 2 years in the mortgage industry is preferred.
- 2 years in a client-focused role is preferred.
