Job Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Loan Closer - Support in Walnut Creek, California. This job function falls within the finance industry, and you will be working in an office setting.

Responsibilities :

Accurately and efficiently process credit applications from customers.
Maintain a well-structured and accurate record of customer credit.
Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
Collect and review all pertinent information and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and package loan files and related documents in compliance with regulations.
Obtain necessary approvals and prepare authorizations in accordance to credit terms / conditions.
Utilize LaserPro to prepare loan documentation and review for completeness and accuracy.
Engage in correspondence with clients, escrow / title and insurance companies to coordinate closing.
Ensure that all collateral is adequately protected and all liens are perfected in the appropriate position.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role as a Loan Closer - Support
Proficient in using Adobe Acrobat for documentation and record management
Experience with Automated Underwriting System for efficient loan processing
Strong ability to manage Bank Relations, including liaising with bank officials and handling customer inquiries
Proven experience in Call Center Customer Service, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Closing Processes within the loan industry
Strong understanding and adherence to Compliance regulations and standards within the financial sector
Proficiency in using LexisNexis for legal research and risk management
Experience with e-Tran for electronic transmission of information
Familiarity with LaserPro for loan documentation and compliance.
