Our client in Newark is seeking a dynamic IT Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of Generative AI (GenAI) use cases in the automotive industry. The role involves driving technology solutions that revolutionize vehicle servicing, maintenance, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, experience in Agile / Scrum environments, and a proven track record of delivering innovative tech products.
Key Responsibilities :
Own Product Strategy and Roadmap :
Define and execute the product roadmap for GenAI-driven solutions , including AI-powered servicing tools and customer support chatbots .
Prioritize backlogs and manage sprints to ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions.
Collaborate with Agile Teams :
Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, data scientists, and UX designers, within an Agile / Scrum framework .
Act as a Product Owner , refining user stories, managing sprint planning, and conducting retrospectives.
Deliver Customer-Centric Solutions :
Build GenAI features such as predictive maintenance , real-time troubleshooting , and 24 / 7 customer support to enhance vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.
Work with stakeholders to ensure the solutions align with customer needs and market trends.
Drive Technical Excellence :
Partner with engineering teams to develop scalable and secure GenAI integrations within automotive ecosystems.
Oversee API development, data integration, and system architecture for seamless product functionality.
Analyze and Improve :
Define KPIs to measure the success of GenAI solutions.
Use data-driven insights to iterate on products, improve performance, and maximize customer value.
Required Qualifications :
Proven experience in IT product management , with a focus on AI-driven solutions .
Strong expertise in Agile / Scrum methodologies , including backlog management and sprint execution.
Familiarity with GenAI technologies , predictive analytics, and conversational AI tools.
Excellent technical acumen, with experience in API development and system integration.
Exceptional communication skills to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the automotive industry or with AI-powered customer service tools.
Background in software development or data engineering is a plus.
Knowledge of OEM workflows and automotive servicing processes.
