What you will have an opportunity to do :

The Lobby Attendant is responsible for but is not limited to the overall cleanliness of the public areas, reporting deficiencies to ensure all rooms are maintained in accordance to standards and procedures of public areas as set forth by Forbes and Chatham Bars Inn.

General Responsibilities Include :

• Ensure all public areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained up to the standard as demonstrated by Housekeeping supervisory staff during initial training.
• Continuously uses chemicals to clean and sanitize the public restrooms including sinks, mirrors, walls, toilets and floors. Stocks the restrooms with sufficient paper products and amenities.
• Sweeps, vacuums, extracts, scrubs, waxes, and polishes public area floors both interior and exterior.
• Cleans and polishes furniture and upholstered items, ensuring they are always in the best condition.
• Dusts furniture, wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Welcomes guests and creates a hospitable experience.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager.
