Job descriptionBLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current Cath Lab Technician experience. Graduate from a fully accredited Cath Lab Tech / Radiology Tech program Active unencumbered Kansas Cath Lab Tech state license One year of Cerner experience COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal / communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Department : Cardiac Cath Labs Anc
Shift Timings : Morning 07 : 00 - 17 : 30 Hours Monday to Friday (4 Days / 10 Hours)
Per Week : 40 Hours
40 hours / week Weekend rotation every 4th week Call : Traveler will take STEMI call for the cath lab, approx every 4-5 weekends and 6-8 weekdays per month (traveler is welcome to take as much call as they want). EHR : OneChart (Cerner)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
- Prepare, implement and document plan of care.
- Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
- Perform and / or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures.
- Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
