Job descriptionTemp-to-Hire position hour Full Time work available Weekend work required First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm) Execute and optimize transport, considering cost, service and other planning parameters Utilize various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning and scheduling, understands different planning techniques including load planning tools Prepare and update weekly logistics schedule to ensure on time deliveries to customers locations and coordinates product pick up with suppliers. Track and trace cargo in transit until POD. Works closely with transport service providers to assure efficient and effective execution of processes, assists in obtaining necessary transport permits and codes and prepares proper transportation paperwork. Planning experience in air / sea exports with oilfield / manufacturing background. Excel proficiency, OTM (transportation management system), Hazmat certified or knowledge, freight background. Experience in working with advanced TMS platforms, and JDE Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
