The Loss Prevention Intern will provide administrative and operational support to the Loss Prevention team, focusing on accurate data entry, TAPA compliance, and security-related documentation. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in corporate security and compliance within a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate security incident reports and supporting Yusen’s Loss Prevention program through timely data entry and documentation.
- Perform data entry and updates for TAPA logs, SIM reports, and other compliance-related records to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
- Support the Operations Team by monitoring and tracking TAPA Security requirements, ensuring all line items are addressed promptly.
- Review and update TAPA compliance documentation, including authorized entry logs and related programs.
- Compile and organize performance metrics, trend analysis, and provide recaps to leaders.
- Assist in reporting and documenting security incidents to identify vulnerabilities and support corrective / preventative measures.
- Conduct routine checks of CCTV functionality across facilities and log findings for management review.
- Provide administrative support for security assessments, evaluations, and investigations as directed by Loss Prevention Management.
- Collaborate with internal teams on delegated projects, ensuring timely updates and accurate recordkeeping.
- Maintain clear communication with all departments to support compliance and operational security needs.

Qualifications
Company is looking for an undergraduate student who preferably is majoring in Occupational Safety, Business, Logistics, Contract Logistics, Business Development, and / or Logistics Engineering. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with extensive knowledge of Web usage, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
