Description
The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing safety and loss prevention operations across multiple locations within a designated area. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring loss prevention strategies to safeguard the organization's assets, reduce shrinkage, and minimize operational risks. The Loss Prevention Manager will conduct investigations, ensure compliance with federal, state and company policies. They will collaborate with store and Field Support leadership to promote a culture of safety, security and accountability.
- Oversight & Strategy :
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive loss prevention and safety strategies across multiple locations within the assigned area. Ensure that both safety and security initiatives align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular safety and loss prevention audits and assessments to identify potential risks. Investigate incidents such as theft, accidents, injuries, and security breaches, and take corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Oversee the development and enforcement of workplace safety programs and protocols. Ensure all regional locations comply with health and safety regulations, OSHA standards, and other applicable laws. Address safety hazards proactively to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
Deliver training programs on loss prevention, safety procedures, emergency response, and risk management. Provide ongoing education to employees on recognizing safety hazards, preventing theft, and adhering to company policies.
Ensure the effective use of security systems such as alarm systems, and access controls, to protect company assets and improve safety. Oversee emergency response procedures and ensure safety equipment is well-maintained and functional.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios (e.g., fire, natural disaster, active shooter). Lead or assist with crisis management efforts to ensure swift and effective responses to safety and security emergencies.
Audit the year end physical inventory process to ensure accurate reporting. Coordinate and complete all pre and post inventory data.
Requirements

No special vision requirements are needed for this position. Ability to move furniture up to 50lbs alone and up to 100 lbs. with assistance as needed. The job, at times, requires long hours with much of that walking and / or standing. In state and out of state travel is required.
TOOLS OR EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB : Personal computer, Storis terminal, calculator, copier, shredder, office phone, cell phone, vehicle, CCTV and Alarm equipment.
