Job Title : Cabling Manager (Low Voltage)
Position Summary
The Cabling Manager (Low Voltage) oversees the design, installation, and maintenance of structured cabling systems that support voice, data, video, and security technologies. This role ensures all low-voltage cabling projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management :
Plan, schedule, and manage multiple low-voltage cabling projects from initiation to completion.
Supervise and mentor cabling technicians and subcontractors.
Oversee installation of copper and fiber optic cabling, patch panels, racks, and related infrastructure.
Conduct site surveys and ensure project documentation accuracy.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems.
BICSI Technician or RCDD Certification
Strong understanding of structured cabling design, installation, and testing.
