What You’ll Do as a Low Voltage Electronic Systems Technician
Your day‑to‑day work will be diverse, hands‑on, and technically engaging. You’ll collaborate with experienced project managers to install and service advanced commercial electronic systems from the ground up — following plans, blueprints, and industry codes.
Typical tasks include :
- Running and organizing structured cabling
- Mounting & wiring control panels, video cameras, access control devices
- Testing, troubleshooting, and performing quality assurance
- Providing Systems Training to customers
- Tracking assets, materials, and work notes via mobile app

Position Summary
The Low Voltage Technician is responsible for installing and servicing security systems including burglar alarms, card access, video surveillance, IP networks and Wi-Fi, and cabling by following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
The Low Voltage Technician works in accordance with relevant codes and follows company standards.
