POSITION SUMMARY

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) administers skilled nursing care to patients (0-45 years) requiring professional nursing services, to patients in their homes under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor. Nursing services are performed in accordance with the physician's orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the location and Clinical Supervisor.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS
Education, Skills & Experience (Essential) :
- A graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- Holds a current nursing license in good standing as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) in the state of practice (or a compact state with the state) in which he / she practices
- Have a minimum of six (6) months recent, verifiable LPN / LVN nursing experience in a pediatric acute care or home health setting. A minimum of one (1) year of recent, verifiable, acute care nursing experience as an LPN / LVN preferred
- Have a minimum of six (6) months recent, verifiable LPN / LVN nursing experience in an acute care or home health setting if servicing patients over the age of 20. A minimum of one (1) year of recent, verifiable, acute care nursing experience as an LPN / LVN preferred
- Must be professional and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license.
- Valid automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Must always wear seat belt while driving.
