We are looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professionals with a sincere heart for elder care! Hiring Immediately! $37.85 - $44.98 per hour.
About Us : Franke Tobey Jones is a not for profit organization located in Tacoma's historic North End. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer Independent Living residences, Assisted Living options, Skilled Nursing Health Care and Memory Care units.
Job duties include :
- Assess resident needs; administer medications; and make timely recommendations
- Administer treatment applications including, but are not limited to : taking and recording of vital signs, collecting fluid samples, dressing of wounds, etc.
- Monitor, update, teach and train Aides
- Maintain medical records on residents
Other duties as assigned including, but are not limited to :
Shift : We currently have an immediate day shift opening in Skilled Nursing.

Requirements
1. Minimum Required Education : Practical Nursing education
2. Minimum Required Experience : 1 year; preferred experience in long-term care facility
3. Minimum Required Skills and Abilities : Demonstrated talent for interacting with a
wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members; ability to
effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; effective training skills; working
skill with Electronic Medical Record computer program; Office Suite skill.
4. Required Licenses / Certifications : Licensed Practical Nurse license, unencumbered, CPR
