Job Summary : We are looking for a Service Express Quick Lube Technician to join our growing team The right candidate will have a strong background in automotive and ASE certification or technical degree. The day-to-day duties of this role include testing check systems to ensure they are working properly, driving vehicles for test purposes, and accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Pay Full time 40 hours per week with overtime available most weeks $18- $22 per hour depending on level of experience Benefits Competitive pay Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical and Dental on day 1 of employment 401K after 90 days Paid time off Paid sick time Paid vacation time Paid training Career advancement opportunities Uniforms and cleaning provided at no cost State of the art facility, Rytec doors, built-in tool boxes, air-conditioned shop, tech lounge & locker room Responsibilities Changing engine oil and oil filters Inspecting and changing air filters, wiper blades, and other routine maintenance items Testing to ensure systems and components are secure and working properly Isolating the systems or components that might have caused the problem Driving the vehicle for testing purposes and inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary Ensuring tire pressure for proper inflation, cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed Installing a new oil drain plug and new oil filter, and communicating oil levels to teammates Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles Repairing or replacing worn parts ahead of the vehicles breakdown or damage Using power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks Advancement Available for those wishing to become Flat-Rate technicians In-house training apprenticeship programs offered Pre-paid Nissan factory training courses online and in-person, with reimbursement for travel expenses Qualifications Highly motivated, reliable, and possessing a positive attitude Effective analytical and communication skills, with an eagerness to improve Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications High School Diploma or GED (required) ASE Certification / Technical degree (preferred but not required) Valid drivers license and clean driving record About Us : The Kelly Automotive Group is a family-owned and operated dealership group founded in 1965.
