Machine Operator Assistant - $21-$23 / hr

We are looking for a motivated Machine Operator Assistant who is eager to learn and take on new challenges. Key Responsibilities :

As a Machine Operator Assistant , you will :

  • Move Materials : Handle materials manually and feed them into machines for processing.
  • Independent Work : Learn to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent Output : Ensure all parts are processed efficiently each day, maintaining consistency based on prior experience.
  • Support Operations : Assist the machine operator with setup, operation, and routine tasks as needed.

Expected Results :

  • Daily Goals : Successfully process all parts by the end of each workday.
  • Knowledge Retention : Retain and apply knowledge from previous workdays to ensure consistency and efficiency in processing.

    • Skills Required :

  • Blueprint Reading : Ability to read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications.
  • Measurement Skills : Proficient use of a tape measure to ensure accurate material preparation.

    • Experience Required :

  • Hand Tool Proficiency : Comfortable using hand tools such as pliers, dental picks, and other equipment requiring good hand-eye coordination.
  • Machinery Familiarity : Experience working with machinery or in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.

    • Qualities Required :

  • Process-Oriented : Understand and follow established processes strictly, ensuring they are not altered without approval.
  • Attention to Detail : Focus on precision and adherence to production requirements.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Manual Labor : Frequent lifting, bending, walking, standing, and pushing are required.
  • Lifting Ability : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally throughout the day, but not consistently.

    • Equipment Used :

  • Hand Tools : Use of various tools such as pliers and dental picks.
  • Machines : Operate a drill press, notchers (stamp, grind), and other machinery relevant to the role.
