Job descriptionExperienced in pneumatics, mechanical, refrigeration, boiler, and electrical repairs. 3 years' experience in the maintenance field, 1 of which are in the food or manufacturing industry. 3 years plumbing or general facilities repair experience. 3 years pneumatics and Hydraulics experience. Understand PLC wiring and ladder logic (training class or work experience). Oberto Snacks Inc., known for our high quality, delicious meat snacks are currently hiring at our Kent, Washington manufacturing facility.
Maintenance Technicians must have a strong working background in the repair of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, electronics, PLC's, servos and vacuum equipment / machinery.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Understands electrical schematics and a proficiency at operating a variety of hand and power tools.
- Maintain the operation of production lines by providing simple "on-line" repairs on all packaging / processing line equipment.
- Troubleshoot the source of the equipment failure and to then adjust, repair or replace parts as needed using standard hand and power tools, including specialty tools such as volt OHM Meter. Performs these tasks at the request of the Lead Maintenance Tech or Production Personnel.
- At the commencement of the shift, consult the production schedule for the day and sets up the machines accordingly.
- Report to Lead and / or Maintenance Supervisor with any reasons for delaying shift starts.
- Responsible for submitting any parts requisition forms for low inventoried or non-inventoried stock.
- May be required to fabricate a needed part if availability is limited by use of grinder, drill press, band saw and mig or tig welding equipment.
SCHEDULE : Position available on 2nd shiftscheduled 1 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM 5 days per week.
