Overview
Reprocesses instruments using high level disinfection (HLD) or sterilization techniques according to manufacturers instructions for use (IFU). Work is completed in a collaborative, team based environment. Performs biological and chemical testing on HLD and sterilization equipment. Monitors instrument and supply inventory. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations. Demonstrates commitment to maintaining and improving departmental / unit standards of care and practice.

Responsibilities
- Reprocesses instruments using high level disinfection or sterilization techniques.
- Maintains an adequate supply of sterile and non-sterile supplies for the department.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of surgical instruments.
- Performs daily biological and chemical testing, changes graphs and tapes and maintains records on all sterilizers.
- Performs secretary / clerical functions.
- Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations.

Starting Pay
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $19.68 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
