RPS Support Analyst II
The RPS Support Analyst II is a specialized role responsible for reviewing participant forms, resolving processing issues, and supporting data mapping functions within a retirement plan services environment. This position involves both quality control and technical data conversion tasks, requiring a blend of analytical skills, system knowledge, and client interaction. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient transaction processing and client relationship management through detailed data analysis and problem resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control reviews of participant forms, including distributions and enrollments, and communicate with clients or participants regarding deficiencies.
- Notify Relationship Management (RM) team of any chronic or sensitive issues requiring escalation and participate in client discussions as needed.
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot data import definition files (IDFs) for converting electronic client data into OmniPlus formatted transactions, utilizing tools like OmniMapper and Plan Convert.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to review sample data files, provide feedback, and ensure proper formatting for seamless data conversion.
- Support client relationships by resolving repetitive data file standardization issues, tracking progress, and coordinating with the RM team.
- Develop specialized templates for unique allocation needs and one-time files such as plan corrections, ensuring accurate data mapping and transaction formatting.
- Serve as a backup contact for the Move-It data transfer application, managing setup, troubleshooting, and resolution of file transfer issues.
- Assist in process improvements by analyzing client data trends and recommending efficiencies or control enhancements.
- Monitor workflow priorities, support special projects, and contribute to ongoing process optimization.
- Cross-train on additional support functions including cash processing, participant communication, and mail duties to serve as a backup team member.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred; alternatively, 2-3 years of experience in investments consulting, data mapping, or related area.
- Advanced analytical skills to identify and resolve system or accounting issues effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss technical issues professionally at all organizational levels.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience creating macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) a plus.
- Thorough reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of trust recordkeeping systems, accounting principles, and employee benefit laws is preferred.
- Ability to work in an environment that occasionally involves manual handling and sitting for extended periods.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Publishing Pay Range: $20.00 $22.00 Hourly
