Job description
Immediate need for a talented Clerk . This is a 06+ months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Portland, OR(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range : $25 - $30 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience :
- Minimum of one year of full-time responding to requests for medical records.
- RHIT / RHIA Preferred; NOT required. The ideal candidate will have their first year of RHIT / RHIA training complete.
- ROI experience, good c / s, clear communication. Will answer questions regarding form entry regarding medical forms. (ex : FMLA, disability, health screen etc).
- Will Access medical records must know HIPAA points of auth, ROI.
- Required experience for this role, "responding to request for medical records". Should be knowledgeable of HIPPA rules. Should have at least 1 years exp in requesting medical records.
- We are looking for worker bees-people who have actually worked in a medical record department in any role where they were handling medical records but also having had some experience talking on the phone with patients, either in a medical records role or some other healthcare role where they were providing customer service, making appointments, etc.
- Epic EHR experience at that level would be a plus.
