About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to support regression and end-to-end testing for large-scale, integrated web applications undergoing platform modernization. The role focuses on validating functional parity, system integrations, batch-driven processing, and downstream outcomes across portals, backend services, and mainframe-integrated systems.
What You’ll Do
- Perform UI functional, visual, and regression testing for web portals.
- Execute end-to-end workflow testing from portal initiation through downstream completion.
- Conduct cross-browser testing (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari).
- Perform accessibility regression testing (ADA/WCAG) to preserve existing compliant behavior.
- Validate batch job execution outcomes, including post-batch status updates and downstream results.
- Validate backend and mainframe outcomes indirectly through workflow execution and system visibility.
- Support performance and load validation at a regression level (response time, stability, error behavior).
- Prepare and manage test data to support regression and end-to-end scenarios.
- Log defects clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- UI Functional / E2E / Regression Testing: Playwright
- UI Visual Validation: Browser-based visual checks
- Cross-Browser Testing: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari
- Accessibility Testing: Axe DevTools, NVDA Screen Reader
- API & Integration Testing: Postman, SOAP UI
- Batch Job & Mainframe Outcome Validation: End-to-end workflow execution
- Performance & Load Testing (Regression Level): JMeter, k6
- Defect & Test Management: JIRA, test management tools
- 6+ years of experience in QA testing for enterprise applications.
- Strong experience in manual regression and end‑to‑end testing.
- Good experience testing integrated systems involving portals, backend services, batch jobs, and mainframe components.
- Hands‑on experience with testing web portals, APIs, and connected systems.
- Exposure to accessibility testing, performance & load testing, and cross‑browser validation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with platform or framework migration projects.
- Exposure to batch-driven or asynchronous processing systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
